Jennifer Prugh

Jennifer Prugh is the owner and co-founder of Breathe Together; a yoga studio, tea house, and wellness center in Los Gatos, California offering over 80 classes a week for every level of practice. Jennifer leads yoga adventures and retreats all over the world.

Certified as both a Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapy and an E-RYT 500, in 2008 she founded the Joy of Yoga School of Integrative Learning for those who want to deepen their practice and train to become yoga teachers through 200 hours of training. She created a 300-hour yoga training program in 2011, a 100-hour Meditation and Awareness Program, in 2020, and a 1,000-hour yoga training program in 2021. She is passionate about guiding students toward discovering what is possible in life when we bring our whole selves to each moment.

A professional artist with a Master’s degree in Art and Consciousness Studies, she was an associate professor for eight years at Cogswell College where she taught storytelling, mythology, and creativity. She is an author, artist, educator and teacher whose work is dedicated to practicing presence and cultivating joy. She’s the author of two books: River of Offerings – Twelve Journeys Following the Path of the Ganges River, and Moving Into Meditation: 27 Meditations for Daily Life.

She began practicing yoga in 1989, and teaching yoga in 1999. After the death from cancer of her greatest mentor, her father, Jennifer left higher education to teach yoga exclusively, in the words of Joseph Campbell, “to follow her bliss.” Her online classes can be found on yogaanytime.com.

She serves as President of the Board of the Tibetan Children’s Education Foundation. Because education changes the world, she enthusiastically encourages people to sponsor the education of Tibetan children and children of refugees from neighboring countries who live in India.

Jennifer lives with her husband Will, and their golden retrievers, River, Jewel, and Charlie.
