If we are meeting you at the airport: When walking out of the exit, please continue through the shops until you reach the main exit. You will see many drivers waiting and waving name signs. Your driver will be waiting there, holding a ONEWORLD sign. If for some reason, you would not see the driver, please contact his number directly. We will give your driver name and WhatsApp number a few days before your arrival. It will take approximately two hours to reach our centre from the airport.
If we are meeting you at your accommodation prior to your retreat: Your driver will be checking with the reception clerk and waiting for you in the lobby, please make sure the receptionist knows that you are waiting for our pick up service.
You can change money at the airport upon arrival. In general, it is better to change money in Indonesia and not in your home country.
There are clothes designed especially for yoga; stretchy top and pants. However, one can practice yoga without these. A T-shirt and pair of shorts are fine for yoga. Our small shop offers a collection of yoga clothing.
We have enough yoga mats in the yoga pavilion for all participants. Yet you are welcome to bring and use your own mat.
We recommend taking a pair of comfortable walking shoes or sandals with straps for the program’s bike ride, walk or hike.
Remember that Bali has a tropical climate; therefore, there is no need to bring much warm clothing, but perhaps one warm sweater for the morning to the volcano if your retreat includes this activity.
Do not forget your swimming suit and camera!
You may bring along your own toothbrush and toothpaste, hand and body lotion, and a comb. Regular mosquito repellent is available, yet you may bring your own preferred one.
If this is included in your retreat we advise that you take along a white or light color shirt with sleeves for the ceremony. Note: Please be aware that menstruating women are not allowed in the temple. Blood is considered impure to the Balinese.
We often get asked if there is any way to get involved in helping the local community. There are many charities doing good work in Bali, one of them being Solemen, focusing on helping the disadvantaged in Bali. Solemen provides health and safety education as well and teaches how to respect and protect the environment. Solemen is a very small team that is fast-acting, with a huge knowledge of aid groups and rehabilitation centers across the island.
