The 7 steps of Tibetan Healing are a sequence of different practices which are used to assess, balance and connect your energy. This full healing session integrate a particular approach, "Touch and Talk" which will be explained in details during this workshop.

Sukhjeet applies a unique approach to emotional healing and self-awareness, using her training and experience in Kundalini Yoga. Sukhjeet combines the ancestral knowledge of Kundalini Yoga as taught by unique Master Yogi Bhajan, with the Tibetan tradition of self-healing . By introducing Tibetan intuitive Pulse into her teaching, she opens a whole new dimension of yoga practice.

Amjila M.D  |  Tibetan healing instructor and retreat leader
Amjila M.D focuses on balancing energy flows and polarities within the main energy centers and channels, giving life to all the traditional Tibetan ways of healing. Today, thanks to tantric lessons he received from his Master, his method directly links with and complements Kundalini Yoga practice as taught by his wife Sukhjeet Kaur.

ONEWORLD retreats at Kumara

Resort

The fourteen bedroom holistic retreat is located 1.5 km from the heart of Ubud in Bali. Bordered to the west by a small creek, the eco-friendly retreat is surrounded by jungle and rice fields. The retreat center offers two swimming pools, dining room, spa and a 100 sq. meter yoga studio open to nature.

Each room is air-conditioned, has its own terrace, mini-bar and shower. Comfortable yet unpretentious. For our guests' ultimate serenity, everyone above the age of 14 is welcome at the retreat.

Workshops

During the morning workshop, Amjila will present traditional basic Tibetan concepts: the Sun and Moon channels, the 5 chakras, the 5 flows, the red and white drops. The Mandala practice will be introduced. It could be considered as your golden compass which forms the perfect archetype of wholeness and the best way to be concentrated-centredconnected to your self healing energy.

Then Amjila will explain in detail the different steps of healing, in particular the "A-BC" (Assessment-Balance-Connection) of a full healing session focused on the Self Assessment of your main chakra by a simple process: Tibetan Intuitive Pulse (T.I.P), that he received from his Tibetan Master Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche while staying with him at the Chechen Monastery Bouddha-Natt in Nepal. On top of that, the "Touch & Talk" which is a kind of fast healing approach will be introduced. Finally different healing sets will be introduced and explained. All these concepts and healing technics are really simplified and presented mainly on a practical side, in order to be immediately applied in your daily life routine.

Yoga

The morning Sadhana, led by Sukhjeet, could be new and surprising for beginners who are not used to practice yoga every day. Kundalini Yoga is a self discipline you choose to unlock creative potential and cope with daily life, to face your fears and self destructive habits. It is also about understanding who you are. It is a healing process which works on your inner energy centers.

Being awake at 5.30am may seem "hard" but if you are brave, confident and trust Sukhjeet’s experience, it will be a "privileged time" you can experience and offer to yourself. Two precious hours, before sunrise, where you get the opportunity to reconnect with the Higher-Self, to go beyond your perceived conscious limits, to be You. This is the powerful key of transformation. A full mind-body-spirit workout. The results are fantastic!

During your stay with us each Kundalini Yoga class will combine yogic exercises, pranayama (breathing), sound healing, relaxation and meditation. These are the essential elements of a Kundalini Yoga class. Sukhjeet will also guide you through selected asanas designed to rebalance your Doshas (Vatta, Pita, Kapha). So in order to discover them, she will give you an extensive Quiz that you will have to fill in. In doing so, you will know more about your personal Energy pattern.

Finally, Sukhjeet who loves to dance, will have fun with you and show you how to awaken and dance with your Kundalini ShaktI, to discover your grounding and the keys of your energy flow. She will encourage you how to feel well, centered, in peace deeply within you. The goal is to be liberated from your "Monkey mind" which never stops moving and talking, in order to finally become the real Master which lies somewhere within your inner space, in silence and stillness.

Meals

All your meals are included and most are served at the resort.

Our chefs are experienced and eager to offer you the freshest, most tasteful and healthy meals. From our "table d'hôte" you may choose to eat vegetarian or non vegetarian meals. Just like at a friend's place, there are no menus, yet we make sure to know what you like and dislike!

Meals are served either in the jungle dining room or in the privacy of your own balcony table.

Spa

Part of your journey is enjoying the luxury of our skilled therapists' hands.
Inclusive is a Mandi Treatment. This 17th century Javanese royal treatment will make you feel on top of the world! Mandi lulur is the luxurious pre-wedding ritual of Indonesian women. This treatment moisturizes and restores the natural PH balance of your skin. It begins with a traditional body massage, followed by a body scrub to exfoliate dead cells using a mixture of turmeric, sandalwood and rice powder. Then, yoghurt is applied to refresh and open the pores of your skin. The treatment ends with a fragrant blossom bath.

16:30 Sukhjeet’s Kundalini Yoga class: detox Adrenals & kidneys, Meditation to become disease free , Breath of Ten
18:30 Agnihotra Evening Fire ceremony
At sunset we will attend the powerful Agnihotra purification ceremony with BR Indra Udayana in the yoga pavilion right after dinner. During that ceremony, two pinchfuls of uncooked rice grains, smeared with a few drops of cow's ghee, are offered into the Fire while two simple Vedic mantras are chanted. The Fire is prepared in a semi-pyramid shaped copper-pot. Agnihotra has many positive effects in addition to balancing the cycle of nature and nourishing human life. It creates pure, clean and medicinal atmosphere.

After dinner, we will be taking you to Tirta Empul, Bali's most sacred spring pools for a purification ritual. This mystical place is visited by Balinese from all over the island, a local mangku (priest) will carry out the prayers.
